Curious Serendipity

Whatever I am currently working on, my ONE THING, I am curious about it. Looking deeper and broader to understand or master it. It's a focused investigation.

But sometimes ideas, information and people just seem to pop out of nowhere. Right when you need them. The magic of serendipity.

Curiosity is fueled by my drive to know, whereas serendipity is fueled by awareness. And each does fuel the other. But they can become competitors if you don't hold them lightly.

When curiosity becomes singularly obsessive, it can overlook the unexpected opportunity.

And when you leave everything to chance, you may not get what you'd hoped for.

While focused on your ONE THING, look up from time to time. Be surprised.
