New Perspective

It had been a bit of a grey and windy and gloomy start to the day and I was finding it hard to focus (yes, it does happen to me).

Then in the afternoon the sun came out. The cat and I took the opportunity to move out of the office and sit upstairs in the afternoon sun.

With a slightly different view of the world, I got down to some good work. And Mr Spooks got down to some snoozing on the back of the couch in a patch of sunshine - and occasionally overseeing my work. He doesn't micromanage.

The ONE THING I did better today was to change my perspective and all it took was moving my computer upstairs - and a cup of tea.

Rather than just willing yourself to try harder and getting nowhere, one small action can be the shift you need. A deep breath, a walk around the park, a few stretches, calling your mum.

How do you change your state from stuck to flow?
