While I may not be a fan of Ayn Rand, I do like this question.
When you are focused on a meaningful purpose and aligned with your highest values, what is going to get in your way?
> Are they powerful external structures that seem out of your control?
> Are they your current capacity, capability or sense of autonomy?
> Are they beliefs you carry that don't serve you?
Where will you get the determination, the energy and the support to make you unstoppable?
Do ONE THING and do it deep.
And don't miss this month's online conversation, "Get Rid of that Shit - eliminate what's not working for you at work"
We often think that we need to do something to make our workplace better. But sometimes, it’s about stopping doing something rather than adding something new.
Letting go of what is not essential or things that aren’t working can be even more effective than trying to implement something new. And it might be a process, a behaviour, a habit or a system that is just not working or useful.
In our conversation, we will work with a couple of exercises to help you find your way to eliminate the shit that isn’t serving you any longer.
At the end of the session, you will:
- recognise the benefits of doing what matters and what works
- have identified ONE THING to work on eliminating in your workplace
- have created a plan for working on it.
