Which exit?

There has been so much discussion about staying physically and mentally healthy, staying resilient, and looking after each other.

So why was it okay for a friend to pull an all-nighter that had her collapse at work?

Why does a colleague have so much to do that when she can't sleep because work is on her mind, she toddles down the hall in her jammies and dressing-gown at 2 am and does some work?

Or someone who is doing 14 hour days to meet deadlines for their wellbeing program launch? Seriously?

All the while, people are out of work.

This isn't new news - but when will it become old news.

It’s fine when you need to ramp up for specific important projects in the short term. However, we haven't ramped down in a very long while.

We need our workforce healthy. We need to be at our best. We need as many people working as possible.

We need this to stop being okay about excessive hours at work.
