Instead of saying, "We don't get on" with a frustrating work colleague, we shouldn't stop there and simply move into avoidance.

Compatibility is something that we can work on over time, not something that stops us from working with someone at all times.

We need to remember this if we are to reap the benefits of working in a richly diverse environment.
