Immeasurable Happiness

My dad was, for the most part, a happy guy. He had a strange way of measuring happiness, especially as he observed in others. It may be due to

being a farmer, but there were a lot of animal comparisons on his happy-meter.

If you looked really happy, you were like a pig in mud. Or the cat who got the cream. Or, my personal favourite, a dog with two tails.

I always imagined that a more complete version of his happiness scale looked something like the image below.

Being 'in mud', 'with cream' or in a stereo tail situation should be how we get to feel at work every day - or a least, regularly. But during the last couple of years, it's been less muddy, creamy and tail-y for many people. And that's still the case.

So wherever you're sitting on the happiness scale today, I hope you find ONE THING that can nudge you in a muddy, creamy and tail-y way of being.

And maybe help someone else who is mudless, creamless and tailless.
