The tenth conversation

I heard Jørgen Vig Knudstorp, the executive chairman and former CEO of Lego, discussing how important it is to be paying attention to concerns and ideas of the organisation.

And that might mean that you engage in a lot of conversations, the first nine of which may be things you already knew or are not really relevant. But as a leader, you need to be prepared to hear them.

Not only so people feel heard, but because the tenth conversation is going to be the one that is pure gold. The idea that the organisation needs from a voice that may not always be heard.

Try this ONE THING today. Focus on the potential in every conversation - for great ideas and ways to support and encourage others. And let me know what you find.
