RBG Disagreement

Learning to have an argument that doesn't become a personal attack, hostile, or aggressive is a grown-up thing that I have observed being mastered from quite a young age—or not.

In a world where it's often seen as 'us versus them ', 'for me or against me ', 'I'm right and you are clearly wrong ', the skill of respectful disagreement is a rare and valuable one that is not often encouraged.

As managers or team members, the ability to respectfully disagree, uncover conflict, and discuss it together without causing defensiveness is a skill we could all focus on or reflect on.

How well am I doing this? What could I learn? How can I model this behaviour in challenging circumstances?
