How doing ONE THING saves precious resources
The lovely thing about doing ONE THING and doing it deep at work is what an amazing saving plan it can be.
Doing what matters, doing it over time, in different ways and including everyone, gives you the best chance of having your ONE THING stick.
It means you are not wasting time on lots of other THINGs that are never fully implemented and a waste.
While it may take a little more time to implement, it actually saves you time. You get buy-in early. People see opportunities to improve and challenges to avoid. And it means you don't need to repeat the same project or initiative or development again in a couple of years because it failed to stick last time.
And that has to save you money. So it's a wise use of financial resources, making it an investment rather than a cost.
And by doing ONE THING and doing it deep, people see you follow through and make inclusive and positive change. As a result, you keep their goodwill and don't fritter away their trust and respect in leaders and organisations.
So make doing ONE THING deep part of your savings plan. It will work for you, your team and your organisation.
