No More Emails?

When I am talking to teams about the ONE THING that would make a difference to how they work together, dealing with email overwhelm comes up frequently.

Cal Newport's new book, A World Without Email, is a tantalising look at how we can rethink our communication.

He says, and we know, the constant checking of our emails is productivity poison. We are dulling our ability to think. And there is an emotional impact - it makes us anxious and unhappy.

He suggests that how we use email confuses communication and collaboration. By using different tools that separate these activities, and being a wee-bit more structured, we can be more productive, and happier.
