Sexy Values

I am always interested in what an organisation's values are. I also love creating values for them. And while I take into account the style and the ideas of the business to help them make what suits them, I love sexy values.

So many places want to include all the permission to play values - integrity, respect and accountability. How important these are cannot be overstated. But I like them to be stated differently and fit the culture of the company.

Wouldn't you rather Atlassian's "Don’t #@!% the customer" than "Customer Centric"?

Sure, it's not appropriate everywhere, and how you live them is more important. But are you more likely to live them if they are just a little bit sexy?
